SHIPPING INFORMATION
WE SHIP TO CANADIAN AND USA ADDRESSES ONLY. WE DO NOT SHIP TO INTERNATIONAL LOCATIONS.
All Orders (with the exception of "Personalized Singing Plush Animals" and most of our licensed character books will be shipped from Alberta, Canada.
Shipping of Personalized Singing Plush Animals
Orders for Personalized Singing Plush Animals are processed and shipped from the United States. While most packages shipped from the USA arrive to our customers within 2-3 weeks, we have seen delays caused by the postal system. These delays can sometimes cause deliveries to take longer than expected.
Unfortunately, once a package is shipped and given to the postal systems, we do not have any ability to control how fast that package is delivered. We ask that you allow extra time for any such delay and that you place your order for this item allowing enough time for it to get to you by the date you need it by.
Shipping rates include: postage cost and also handling & shipping supplies.
Shipping cost varies depending on method of shipment, item and quantity ordered, and will be shown at checkout. Shipping and handling is charged based on the total cart value. The more items in an order, the lower the cost of shipping per book. Exact shipping costs are calculated in your shopping cart once the delivery address has been entered and total items are added to the cart.
Processing Time
All orders are processed promptly and we commit to a 48 hr. turnaround time from the date your product is ordered, except in the rare instance:
- Product is manufactured by a third party (Singing Plush Animals, Licensed Character Books).
- When we are temporarily away from the office for urgent and unavoidable situations.
During peak shopping periods such as Christmas, it may take a bit longer to process your order due to the high volume. We appreciate your patience during these possible delays.
If an item is temporarily out of stock or there is any anticipated delay in processing your order, we will notify you by email or phone call immediately.
We will in every case, make our best efforts to deliver your product in the time frame chosen by you during checkout, but we have no control, nor can we accept responsibility for any delays which may be caused by the Canada Post delivery service.
*** Special Note re the following titles "My Adventure Disney licensed books", "Peppa Pig", "Dora", "Paw Patrol" books
Please note that all books in the "My Adventure Brand Books" (newer Disney titles), and "Peppa Pig brand books" are manufactured in a separate printery and shipped by a third party from Toronto. Processing time for these books is approximately 10 business days. Shipping time is additional.
Examples of these books are the Disney licensed character books that fall under the "My Adventure Books" category. These books, although manufactured at a different location, will have the same delivery time via Canada Post once mailed.
No Xpresspost shipping' is available for the "My Adventure Brand Books", Paw Patrol or the "Peppa Pig" books. These books will be mailed from Ontario, Canada by Canada Post expedite mail and will have a tracking number.
Canada Post Delivery Times
Items are shipped by postal service. We typically do not offer shipping via courier such as UPS or FedEx.
Please note that delivery times shown at checkout, refers to Canada Post shipping times only, and Does not include processing times, which can vary depending on volume of orders.
If you require expedited delivery please ensure that you select either Expedite or Xpresspost as the delivery method at checkout.
Canada Post Shipping Notice
During the pandemic and as important safety measures continue, delays should be expected.
Approximate Canada Post delivery times (Which does not include processing time) are:
Canada Post Standard Lettermail Delivery: This delivery method can take 7-10 days delivery (sometimes even longer) There is no delivery time guarantee and no tracking or insurance is included with delivery via standard lettermail. Once your order is shipped, we have no control over how it is handled by Canada Post, neither can we assume responsibility for non-delivery or late delivery with this method. We strongly recommend delivery via expedite or xpresspost, where although they cost a bit more, come with the added guarantee of delivery time and most importantly, a tracking number.
Canada Post Expedite Parcel Delivery: This delivery method includes delivery time guarantee, tracking and insurance in case of loss.
5-6 days delivery (Canada)
Canada Post XpressPost Delivery: This delivery method includes delivery time guarantee, tracking and insurance in case of loss. 3-4 days delivery (Canada)
RETURNS INFORMATION
Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales are final. Once an order has been processed, it cannot be changed or cancelled and cannot be refunded.
If YOU made a mistake in the customization information you provided us, we will replace/correct the book (if you wish) at your expense for 25% off the original price.
You will be required to return the original copy via Canada Post's Standard Mail Service.
The returned copy MUST be in good condition in order for the 25% discount to apply.
PLEASE NOTE: This does not apply to personalized products that were purchased with ANY Deal Coupon.
The customer should contact our customer service department in the event that they used a Deal Coupon. Depending on the terms and conditions of the Deal in question, it is entirely up to the discretion of Personalized Books Ontario, how the situation is handled ... The percentage discount on the reprinted book price, IF ANY, will vary.

Once an order is placed, it is placed in queue to be processed. Understandably, we are not able to accept cancellations or changes to orders once your order has been processed or has entered the processing queue.
NOTE:
If you make an error: Upon receipt of your order, if you realize that you have made an error in the personalization you have provided for your order, depending on the item, we may be able to offer you a discount on the purchase of a new/replacement book. Please contact us to discuss your options.
If we make an error: Yes, unfortunately try as we may to avoid this, this sometimes happen. Please contact us to discuss this and we will work on each situation individually.

If you believe your product has not arrived in correct format, please contact us for assistance. If it is determined that the error was caused during our production of the item, we will make every effort to ensure you receive the correct product.
Please note that all returns need to be authorized. You must complete a returns request or phone us at 1-866-269-6396 to discuss your situation, and to request a return authorization. Unauthorized returns are not accepted. Please note that you may be asked to return the incorrect product to us.
If you are asked to return a product, you will be given full instructions on how to return it. Any replacement or refund is contingent on us receiving the returned product. If you choose not to return the product, you could forfeit your refund or replacement. If the return is due to an error in our production services, we will refund you the return postage or send you a postage paid envelope to return your item in.
We cannot accept responsibility for any loss, non-delivery of mail or damage which may be caused by improper handling by Canada Post on items sent by regular letter mail. Note however that all Expedite and Xpresspost shipping includes insurance for loss or damage. We strongly recommend that for the difference in price, customers consider choosing Expedite shipping on checkout.
- Please ensure you correctly enter your shipping address and phone number when you're placing your order with us; errors, typos or omitted information can result in significant delays. Addresses cannot be changed once we have mailed your order.
- Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a notification email. If you choose a shipping method that includes tracking, you will receive a tracking number. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking number to fully update. If you chose Regular lettermail as your method of shipping, NO TRACKING NUMBER WILL BE PROVIDED.
AMENDMENTS TO ORDERS
All requests to amend an order which has been placed must be made as soon as possible. Due to the fact that all orders are processed promptly, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the changes if your order has already been processed. Once an order has had its status updated to 'Awaiting Shipping' in most cases we will not be able to make any changes as this means your book has already been printed or your CD has already been made. We do our best to accommodate all requests but if your order has already been processed and awaiting shipping, we may not be able to make any change in the printing.
